Database of the Week - AnyQuestions/Many Answers
AnyQuestions/Many Answers is a free, live text based online chat service that helps New Zealand students with their schoolwork. The service is funded by the Ministry of Education and delivered by real librarians from around the country including staff at Marlborough District Library.
You do not need to be a library member to use AnyQuestions or Many Answers.
The aim of the service is not to give students the answer, but rather to teach them valuable information literacy skills so they can find the information themselves.
The AnyQuestions part of the website is open from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Many Answers is the part of the website which operates 24/7. It has articles on a variety of topics studied in New Zealand schools. These provide details of websites where students can find more information on their topic at a suitable level for their age. Search or browse for the information you need.
Topics of interest include articles on Matariki, World War 1 and Maori Myths and Legends.
